Occasion Wear Abayas

Crafted for Moments That Matter

At Bashariya, our occasion wear abayas are designed for the moments that call for elegance, grace, and a touch of luxury. These abayas feature exquisite handwork, intricate embroidery, and embellishments that reflect artisan craftsmanship, making them ideal for intimate gatherings and family celebrations in the presence of mahrams.

Unlike daily wear, these abayas are not meant for casual outings—they are for when you want to feel your most beautiful. Whether it's for a wedding, Nikah, Eid celebration, or a formal family dinner, our occasion abayas offer modern cuts, flowy drapes, and rich detailing in luxurious fabrics like Nida, Georgette, Satin, Chiffon, and Imported blends.

Available in subtle pastels, elegant jewel tones, and timeless neutrals, each piece makes a statement while preserving modesty. With every stitch and silhouette, Bashariya ensures that you stand out without stepping outside the bounds of elegance and tradition.

“Is This Collection Suitable for Non-Mahrams?”

In the Name of Allah, the Most Merciful, the Most Compassionate

Allah ﷻ says in the Qur’an:

“And tell the believing women to lower their gaze, guard their modesty, and not display their adornment except what ordinarily appears thereof, and to draw their veils over their bosoms…”
— Surah An-Nur (24:31)

About This Collection

Islam teaches both men and women to be modest at all times and to cover their awrah (satr) in every situation — even in the presence of mahrams.

These garments are modest and beautiful for wear at home or in front of mahrams (close relatives listed in the Qur’an). However, due to colors, patterns, or styles that may be considered adornment (zinah), they are **not suitable for wearing in the presence of non-mahrams** or in public settings.

For outer garments intended for non-mahrams, please visit our Abaya and Jilbab collections, designed in accordance with Surah Al-Ahzab (33:59).

The Messenger of Allah ﷺ said:
“Modesty is part of faith.”
(Ṣaḥīḥ al-Bukhārī, Ṣaḥīḥ Muslim)

We prioritize transparency and halal earnings. May Allah guide us all to what pleases Him.
