“Is This Collection Suitable for Non-Mahrams?”

In the Name of Allah, the Most Merciful, the Most Compassionate

Allah ﷻ says in the Qur’an:

“And tell the believing women to lower their gaze, guard their modesty,
and not display their adornment except what ordinarily appears thereof, and to
draw their veils over their bosoms…”

— Surah An-Nur (24:31)

About This Collection

Islam teaches both men and women to be modest at all times and to cover
their awrah (satr) in every situation — even in the presence of mahrams.

These garments are modest and beautiful for wear at home or in front of
mahrams (close relatives listed in the Qur’an). However, due to colors,
patterns, or styles that may be considered adornment (zinah), they are **not
suitable for wearing in the presence of non-mahrams** or in public settings.

For outer garments intended for non-mahrams, please visit our Abaya and
Jilbab collections, designed in accordance with Surah Al-Ahzab (33:59).

The Messenger of Allah ﷺ said:

“Modesty is part of faith.”
